Joe’s 25 year career has been in robotics systems product design, commercial and military aircraft flight controls and simulation and training systems. He advanced through industrial design, Six Sigma and business development as well as senior leadership positions as a certified Black Belt, divisional value pricing , sales and marketing and customer service & product support at Textron. He joined SGB with the acquisition in July of 2006 and has focused on business and product strategy, customer happiness, and SGB’s company culture.

Chuck Burkholder

Chuck has 35 years of financial and operational management experience in large, medium, and small manufacturing corporations. His background includes extensive working capital management, accounting and finance, maintaining bank relationships, and the implementation of business information systems. He joined SGB in June 2008. Prior to joining SGB, Chuck served as the Controller for Celesco Transducers, Inc.
Jeff Mello
Chief Technologist
Jeff’s 25 year career in aerospace included key roles at Textron and ATK where he led the development of products used in harsh environments and advanced weapon systems. He has senior experience in technical leadership over electrical, mechanical, and software disciplines. Since joining SGB in March 2007, Jeff has focused on transitioning the company from components to systems and transforming our engineering and product development processes.
John Nyland
Director of Sales & Customer Support
Simply put, John is one of our biggest customer advocates! He Joined SGB in 2010 and brought us 30 years of customer relationship and sales management. John’s career in Aerospace includes customer support leadership and sales management roles at Moog, HR Textron and Texas Aerospace. John’s main focus at SGB is to lead our customer support group in our unrelenting drive to provide world-class service and to expand SGB’s customer and partner base with the introduction of new product opportunities for both commercial and military sectors.
