We are currently looking for a Bezel Assembly Technician to join our team in Columbia, TN. Candidate will be responsible for finishing, assembly, and light balancing operations on new and/or returned bezel assemblies as specified in applicable documents with little or no supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Painting
  • Operation of laser and printing equipment
  • Use of light meters & force gauges
  • Highly detailed and intricate assembly
  • Light balancing of products within a dark room
  • QC inspection
  • Read and comprehend complex work instructions, drawings and parts lists
  • Simple equipment maintenance and upkeep tasks

  • Strong accuracy, attention to detail, organizational & analytical skills required

  • Strong familiarity with using and the ability to read complex exploded views
  • Soldering & termination of wires
  • Ability to use hand tools; torque drivers, cutters, wire strippers, etc.
  • Ability to do minor calculations to position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit & assembly

Qualifications

  • Min 2 years (required) of highly detailed assembly work
  • Ability to navigate and do small adjustments within AutoCAD and Corel software packages
  • Previous experience with operating laser equipment – fiber and/or CO2
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong schematic, print, and BOM aptitude
  • Knowledge of ESD practices and procedure
  • Training to industry standards (IPC, J-Std) *preferred
